In the kitchen

So the title says it all.
What does IN THE KITCHEN MEANS?

well, as you all know, SPM is around the corner. And yeah, my study table is in the kitchen. Amazing ain't it? I decided not to have it in my room because i might go haywire when i'm alone or just go crazy with myself.

So i moved to the kitchen instead. BUT THAT'S NOT THE END.

There's also a lot of distraction in the kitchen. And u know what i mean.

Study table in the kitchen
First of all, the smell of food. OH GOODNESS. I couldn't resist myself from all the food in my house. There's food almost every time and the aroma of it... Ooooh. Especially when my gran's here. She have the best talent when it comes to food. Nobody beats her cooking especially when it comes to curry. *kill me now*

So, what do we have here?
There's a laptop, basically to check my answers, i find that laptop is more wider and easier to download answers when it comes to checking answers. I decided to just do state papers for this last 3 weeks. Hope it's still early for it. lol. 10 subjects.... 3 weeks.... yeah, there's time.

There's always a glass of water beside me and a thermal water bottle which has tea inside. I've been living with tea recently. And i didn't know tea could disturb your sleep routine. So one time i had it at night and turned out i slept at 2am! Deng, should use the freaking rolling-in-bed time to do some more productive stuff instead. Let bygones be bygones.

Next up, There's a charger which i use to charge my ipod and also my phone, which i use it to access my friends. Most of them don't go online already because of SPM, imagine how wild and 24 hours-access-to-internet they'll be once spm finishes. Yikes, i still have mandarin subject, which means my spm ends at early december. T_T I want to KRAI.

And basically the other stuffs u see on the desk is books and books and books. When i first set up the table, there's only a few pieces of paper, i don't know how it can come to piles of books on the desk. Oh Gosh... Oh, and my yellow rubber band, shown on the picture below. :)

Hibernating, period.

Yup, the title says it all. I've been hibernating really. It isn't because of SPM, it's because my computer sucks and i just can't wait for SPM to end so that i can change into a new and better one. The processor had been a jerk. I have no idea, but it seemed like a tradition to me that every thing that i lay my fingers on just seem to breakdown itself.

My families were kinda afraid to lend their stuff to me. But to me it was JUST TOUCHING. Okay, i admit i really didn't break my father's PC power button. I seriously just pushed the button with my FINGERS, not my WHOLE BODY. And then it happened. The button was stucked there, never came out. (You know, to me, it was just coincidence, and coincidence accidents happened to me a lot). My dad loves his button so much he opened up the whole PC shell and operated that one single button. It made me feel so bad about myself. Because he had a hard time putting everything back again.

I feel bad like, all the time? Remember when we were young, we were taught NOT to do a lot of things. I could list them out and never see the end of it.

Here's some quick example:
1. Do not lie
2. Do not steal
3. Do not break things.
4. Do not scold or use vulgar
5. Respect adult / do not speak when adult's speaking.

Well... i sort of break a rule, and my brother never knew.

Yeah, it was something to do with my 2nd brother. I kind of....took something off his study table when he was still in secondary school which he never knew, until now. (which he still doesn't know) let's just hope he didn't drop by here and read all this thinking "hohohoho, my sister's writing something about me." And get all excited.

It isn't something fancy.

It's a notebook.

I still remember the notebook is blue is colour, and that the cover of the notebook is of a university. Yeah, he got it for free. And he used to have SOOOOOO many notebooks. I don't know how he get them, but for him, his stuff are like his BABIES. I used to want to own so many things that he owned. He arranged transparent rocks on his shelf and his desk are always beautified.

I like it when my brothers clean up. It means i get FREE stuff. Getting free stuff, even just a single eraser makes me a happy kid. I'd always wake up seeing used stuff on my desk. And little did i know, my room was getting fuller and fuller every year, until one day i noticed: THEY WERE ALL TRASH.

TRASH TRASH TRASH.

Okay, back to the notebook. I had the notebook in my hands, and i thought, " i'm so dead, he's gonna find out." but he never did. Of course i did not take up the habit of stealing. Stealing that time was miserable and torturous enough for me i never want to feel the same way again. But it made me think until today "Why didn't he ask about the notebook?" The devil inside me is telling me "Seriously ning, he don't care about that notebook at all."

The angel part of me told me to apologize.

So i'm gonna apologize to my brother here.

"Gor, sorry i took your notebook. And i lost it, i tried to find it, i really do. But it was nowhere to be found. Yeah, remember i asked you who's your favorite sister? Remember that you said it was me? Yeah... thanks. You're my favorite too. I mean, all 3 is. " Even though i'm your only sister, and you can only choose me as the favorite one. MUAHAHAHAHA.

I'm drop dead evil.

Father's day chocolate making.

Hi, it's been so long since i last posted. So before father's day, my sister bought some chocolate from the bakery supplement shop, chocolate chip type (picture below) and wanted me to do some chocolate for dad during father's day.

She got me some almond too.

So i decided to heat up the almonds in the baking oven for 15 minutes or so while i started preparing the chocolate.

These are the models provided to give shape to the chocolate that i am about to melt.

This is the chocolate chip
it comes in a packet. If you'd like to know where to buy this, contact me on facebook or email so i can show you directions. :)

Next is to melt the chocolate
Melting chocolate is fun, you melt chocolate to eat marshmallow, fruit dips, or even create chocolate :)
 Your pick.

So to create this, it's really easy. I fill the cooking pot with water, remember to fill it full if u're gonna heat it for long to prevent loss of water and burn up the whole thing black.
wait for the water to release steam.
And put a bowl covering the whole opening of the pot, and then put chocolate chips that you're about to melt on the bowl. If you're trying to melt cooking chocolate or stuff like bars and stuff, i did it before, and it doesn't melt =_= it annoys the crap outta me and i added water.

DO NOT ADD EVEN A SINGLE DROP OF WATER TO THE CHOCOLATE.
it ruined everything.
Seriously,
listen to me.

while waiting for the chocolates to melt, i'm putting the melted chocos on the model, in the picture, a heart shaped model and shape them using a chopstick. Toothpick is recommended.
Because if you don't, they're gonna stay solid and the shape is reallyyyyy weird. Melted chocolate are NOT LIQUID, they don't shape themselves. So use chopstick or toothpick to shape it according to the model shape.

My first ever almond FAILED. Reason: i heat it for too long. Moral of the story is, not too much heat, and take out as soon as possible. It totally turned black. And the worst thing is i tasted it. Oh, you don't wanna mess with black almonds. Um, i mean BURNT almonds.

To fill almond in, first fill the heart 2/3 full with choc and then put almond, and then cover it up with chocolate.

After finishing everything, put in your freezer to freeze it. For me, i freeze it overnight.

And here is the end product.

Cute suit and bow tie choco.

kthxbai.
Hope you learnt something!
